She is a Medical Doctor, specializing in Biopathology / Microbiology.

Studies:

She graduated from the University of Siena, Italy, from which she obtained her Medical Degree with the distinction “Very Good” (grade 8.3).
She is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Microbiology at the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). She holds a Master’s Degree from the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program in Nanosciences & Nanotechnology of the same university, with the distinction “Very Good” (grade 8.25), and is also a postgraduate student in the Inter-Institutional Master’s Program “History of Medicine and Biological Anthropology: Health, Disease, and Natural Selection” of the A.U.Th.
She holds a Certificate of Specialization from the University of Macedonia in “Administration and Financial Management of Health Care Units”, as well as another Certificate of Specialization from the same university in “Cultural Management and Administration of Cultural Organizations.” For her, lifelong learning is a way of life.
She has served for several years as a Scientific Associate at the University Microbiology Laboratory of the AHEPA University Hospital of Thessaloniki.
She received fellowship training from the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at a distinguished center in Switzerland — specifically at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV).
